McCain chooses a female VP

A day after Barack Obama accepted his historic nomination for the Presidency, Sen. John McCain chooses little-known Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin as his running mate on the eve of the Republican National Convention. She gave a great speech accepting the offer, lauded McCain’s heroism, and even took something from Hillary, “to shatter that great ceiling once and for all,” as if she was her political equal.

She’s adorable.
But she’s a conservative.

She’s a young maverick, only 44 years old.
And she’s conservative.

She’s quite an achiever, and a mother of 5.
She also lacks the experience for the demands of the position.

She’s a fighter, and is not afraid to shake convention.
But she’s a rifle hunter, a member of the NRA.
She’s against all forms of abortion (i think, if i got that right from CNN).
And she believes in the drilling of oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

I just hated the GOP a lot more.
